Best Super Bowl Ad

Far and away, I thought the best Super Bow ad I saw (and I didn't see them all) was from Google.  Simple, memorable, consistent with their well-established branding, and compelling. The ad, using just text, shows you the power to tell a story and the power of a story...

I also thought that, despite all the controversy, the Tebow ad was well done. Regardless of your politics, this ad was an excellent example of good advocacy advertising. (Here is the rest of the story, if you are interested.)

What were your favorite ads?

My absolute favorite was the Doritos ad with the little kid: "Keep your hands off my momma, and keep your hands off my Do-ri-tos."

Betty White and Abe Vigoda, T. Pain autocrooning "pass the guacamole", and the killer whale "now THAT was a bachelor party!" I also liked the screaming chickens at first, but then it got to be too much...

I think Planned Parenthood is feeling pretty foolish today. The Tebow ad was so benign, and probably a bit obscure if you didn't know all the fuss. The Betty White/ Abe Vigoda was awesome, but I've already forgotten what they were advertising...

I am sticking with the "Impress a French woman"

Thanks all for weighing in.

Beth, I agree... Planned Parenthood and those who opposed the ad are looking a bit silly today.

Rick... glad someone agrees with me. Not necessarily the funniest or most entertaining ad, but I think probably the most effective.
